Duration
The Certificate in Complementary and Holistic Health will begin in 2010. Topics will include basic anatomy and physiology, basic first-aid, homoeopathic first-aid, tissue salts, neutraceuticals, nutrition, Chinese herbs, aromatherapy, anthroposophical medicine, Bach flower remedies, natural farming techniques, sports nutrition and much more. There will also be a section on selling techniques and various physical modalities such as yoga, pilates, craniosacral therapy as well as the different wellness devices.
Candidates will have the option of completing the entire course or will be able to choose topics of their own interest. After passing an examination, they will be awarded a certificate. The HSBI, presenting part of the course, is accredited with the Health and Welfare SETA (HW591PA0805086). The course will be seen as the preferred provider of employees by the health industry.
Each subject will be presented by professionals in their field and will incorporate practical elements so as to equip you with information that can be implemented in real-life situations.
